Best Pressure Cooker Chili Recipe!
Pressure cooker Beef Chili
Recipe is for 8 quart pressure cooker.
For 6 quart pressure cooker divide recipe in half.
Cook the day before and re-heat before serving. Instructions for serving are below.
Makes 20 cups
Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
1 cup water
3 onions cut into ½” diced
2 red peppers seeds removed ½” diced
2 stalks celery washed ½” diced
2- 28 0z. Can diced tomatoes
2 cups tomato sauce
2 cups beef stock
3 cups baked beans
1 cup dry red kidney beans
1 cup dry beans
2 tbsp. Montreal steak spice
1 tbsp. oregano
2 bay leaves
2 tbsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. roasted garlic pepper flakes
4 tbsp. chili powder (mild heat) you can add more
2 tbsp. paprika
¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. fresh ground black pepper
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese for garnish
Preparation
Set pressure cooker to sauté and add ground beef and 1 cup water. Cook for 15 minutes stirring every 5 minutes breaking up clumps of beef if required. Add onions, peppers, celery and all spices. Cook for 10 minutes stirring frequently. Add remaining ingredients and cook for 5 minutes. Turn of sauté and set to pressure cook. Pressure cook for 1 hour. Let cool and put in fridge.
To serve
Set pressure cooker to sauté and cook for 15 minutes or till hot, stirring frequently.. Serve with shredded cheddar cheese.
