Don’t Forget to Stuff Your Turkey!

Turkey stuffing

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef

1 lb. ground pork

¼ tsp. sage

¼ tsp. garlic powder

½ tsp. salt

 ¼ tsp fresh ground black pepper

1 egg

2 tbsp. butter

1 onion diced fine

¼ lb. sliced fresh mushrooms

4 stalks celery diced fine

8 slices white bread cut into 1 inch cubes

Preparation

In a frying pan on medium heat, add butter. Sauté onions, mushrooms and celery for 4 minutes until onions are clear. Turn off frying pan. Add ground pork, ground beef, spices to a large mixing bowl and mix well.  Add bread cubes to mixing bowl mix with meat and spices and mix well. Add egg and mix well.

Stuff into turkey cavity.
