Tomato Sauce from Canned Tomatoes!

Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

2- 100 oz. canned crush tomatoes

3 - 5.5 oz. cans tomato paste

4 tbsp. oil

4 tbsp. basil

4 tbsp. oregano

4 tbsp. Montreal Steak Spice

2 medium onions diced fine

2 stalks celery diced fine

1 carrot diced fine

1/2 chopped fresh parsley

3 clove of garlic chopped fine

2 tbsp. salt

1 tsp. pepper

 ¼ cup cornstarch with ¼ cup water

Meat Sauce

2 lbs. ground beef

Tomato Sauce Preparation

In a large pot on medium heat add oil. Sauté onions, celery, carrots for 5 minutes. Add garlic sauté 2 minutes. Add canned tomatoes and remaining ingredients except tomato paste. Bring sauce to a boil and simmer for 2 hour. Add tomato paste and stir until tomato paste has dissolved into the tomato sauce. Add cornstarch and water mixture, mix until sauce comes to a boil.

Add cornstarch and water mixture, mix until sauce comes to a boil.
