1 Hour Delicious Instant Pot BBQ Rib Recipe !

Multi Cooker or Pressure Cooker Ribs

Serves 4

Ingredients 

2- 2 lbs. pork back ribs

Rub

¼ cup Montreal steak spice

3 tbsp. paprika

2 tbsp. salt

3 tbsp. garlic powder

2 tbsp. chili powder

1 ½ cup brown sugar

1 tbsp. basil

2 tbsp. oregano

4 Tbsp. Worcestershire

Preparation

Mix spices to make spice rub. Remove the skin membrane from the rib side of pork ribs. Pour and rub 1 tbsp. Worcestershire on each side of the ribs. Rub 1 ½ cups of the rub on the on each side of the ribs. Put any remaining rub but on meat side of the ribs. Put 1 cup of bourbon or whiskey and 1 cup of water in the bottom of the pressure cooker pan. Place the trivet at the bottom of the pressure cooker pan. Place ribs in the pressure cooker by standing them on their side on top of the trivet while curving them around the pan so they fit. Cook on manual / full pressure for 26 minutes. Remove ribs and place on baking tray.

Making the Mop Sauce

Ingredients

2 cups ketchup

 Preparation

Remove trivet for pressure cooker. Press the sauté button and add ketchup to liquid in pressure cooker pan. Cook for 2 minutes. Remove and use sauce.

Oven Preparation

Set oven to 350F and cook for 20 minutes meat side up. Mop sauce on ribs every 10 minutes. Then set oven to broil and cook approximately 5-8 minutes, brush with mop sauce every 2 minutes while broiling. Remove and serve.

 BBQ

 Place ribs on BBQ and cook for 5-10 minutes on each side until ribs. Brush mop sauce on ribs while cooking.
