Easy to Make Truffle Mac and Cheese!

Truffle Mac and Cheese

Serves 8

Ingredients

8 oz. macaroni ( 1 tbsp. salt for boiling pasta)

1 1/2 cups milk

1/2 cup 35% cream

3 tbsp. butter

4 tbsp. all purpose flour

¼ tsp. fresh cracker black pepper

1 tsp. chicken base

2 tsp. garlic powder

1 pinch nutmeg

1 tsp. salt

2 cups shredded cheddar

1 cup shredded Edam cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella

¼ cup shredded parmesan

3 tbsp. truffle oil

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese for garnish.

Preparation

 Boil 9 cups of water with 1 tbsp. salt. Add 3 cups macaroni elbows bring to a boil. Turn off and put lid on and remove from heat .Strain after 12 minutes. Let pasta sit in strainer for 5 minutes.

Add butter to 4 quart pot and melt over medium heat. Add flour, cook and stir for 2 minutes. Add milk to pot and stir for 2 minutes. Add cream, stir and bring to boil for 2 minutes constantly stirring. Remove pot from heat. Add all spices, cheese and mix well until combined. Add pasta and mix. Add truffle oil and mix well. Serve garnished with freshly shredded cheddar cheese.
