Enjoy your Afternoon Coffee with fresh baked Biscotti! (Copy)

Vanilla Walnut Biscotti

Makes 34 slices of Biscotti

4 ¾ cup Bread Flour

 2 tsp. Baking Powder

1 cup Sugar

 1 tsp. Salt

 ¼ cup Milk Powder

 2 tbsp. Pure vanilla extract

  ¾ cup Water

 1 cup Walnuts Chopped

 Preparation

1. Add flour, baking powder, salt, milk powder to table top mixer.

2. Using whisk attachment mix for 1 minute

3. Remove whisk and put on dough hook. Add eggs, vanilla and water. Mix until a ball is formed. About three minutes.

4. Add chopped walnuts and mix until walnuts are completely mixed into dough.

5. Remove dough, cover with damp towel and let rest for 20 minutes.

6. Divide dough into 2 equal parts. Press 1 half of the dough into a 9"x"x3" baking pan that has been sprayed with non-stick oil.

7. Turn the baking pan filled with dough upside down on a baking pan covered with parchment paper or silicone baking mat. Gently lift baking pan until dough comes out. Repeat process with other piece of dough.Press on top of dough until it reaches the size of 5 1/2" x 9".

8. Bake in a oven pre-heated to 350 F. Bake for 20 minutes until dough is firm to the touch both top and bottom. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.

9. Remove dough for baking tray and place on a cutting board. Using a serrated knife cut along the width of the dough starting in the middle of the length of the dough making 1/2 " slices. Lay each slice back on baking pan with parchment paper with about 1/4 space between each slice. Bake at 300 F oven for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and turn each biscotti over and bake for another 5 minutes.

10.Remove and place on cooling rack. When cold place in container with lid and store your cupboards.

You can dip edges in chocolate.
