Easy, Delicious BBQ Vegetarian Burger!

Vegetable Burger

Makes 2 burgers

Ingredients

2 large portabella mushrooms, washed, Stem removed.

1 sweet red pepper stem and insides removed. Cut into 4 flat pieces.

1 medium onion. Do not cut onion in half leave whole. Slice onions keeping them round about 1/4 “ thick.

1 large Zucchini 2-3” diameter. Washed cut into ¼ circles.

2 Tbsp. oil

1 tbsp. Montreal Steak Spice

3 Tbsp. seasoned sushi vinegar and 2 tbsp. oil, pinch salt, pinch fresh cracked pepper (mixed in medium size bowl)

2 hamburger buns

Preparation

Heat BBQ to 400 F (approximately 10-15 Minutes) Put oil in a large bowl and add Montreal Steak Spice. Mix well. Place mushrooms, onions, zucchini, pepper pieces in bowl with oil. Coat onions with oil first being gentle so that onions stay whole.  Toss remaining vegetables until they are coated with seasoned oil. Turn BBQ to medium heat and place all vegetables on BBQ . Cook for 5 minutes and then turn over and cook for another 3-5 minutes When you turn over vegetables place buns on BBQ cut side down for 30 seconds to 1 minute cook until lightly toasted. Place buns on top rack of BBQ to keep warm. Remove vegetables and put into bowl with seasoned sushi vinegar, oil, salt and pepper. Mix well. Place bun bottoms on 2 plates. Divided vegetables equally and place on bun. Top with top of bun.
