5-6 Quarts of water for every pound of pasta.

1-3 tablespoons salt to water based on the amount of salt you prefer.

Bring water to a boil.

Add pasta. Stir for 1 minute. Bring pasta and water to a boil.

Boil for 2 minutes. Turn off heat. Cover pot.

Let sit for 12 minutes. Save 1 cup of pasta water to add to your pasta sauce which adds the pasta starch to your sauce enhancing the sauces flavour profile. Drain ready to serve.

Do not rinse pasta!
